Austria Trip 2013
A group of 50 of our club members ventured to Innsbruck, Austria in February.
They had a wonderful week skiing at several mountains,
seeing Venice, shopping and eating.
This is just one of our incredible ski trips this club has put together.
We have an amazing group of members who help to make this club great!

Spring conditions Friday with rain at the bottom of the mountain and snow at the top.

Side trips included shopping, spa treatments, zip lining through a mountain rain forest,
and skeleton runs down the fastest bob sled run in the world.
Saturday was spent exploring the great city of Vancouver, and a fabulous stay at the 4 star Fairmont Hotel.
Steamboat--- February 2016

When you think these trips can’t get any better, they do!  Forty eight members ventured to Steamboat Springs Colorado for our
winter adventure. With over 3000 acres and 10,450 feet of elevation, Steamboat offers a variety of difficulty and terrain. Although
we did not see that elusive waist deep powder, light to pack powder was the primarily surface conditions with some heavier stuff
towards the end of the week with a warm up. So whether you were in the Chutes or Christmas Tree Bowl or cruising easy on Why
Not, Steamboat had something for everyone including some of the best glades in the universe (example: the when do I get out of
here trail ‘Closets’).

Ski/snow oriented events such as the guided tours, bump run client with Olympic gold medal winner Nelson Carmichael, skiing with
Billy Kidd, dog shedding, snow shoeing, horseback riding, along with off mountain events like the reception party, our Super Bowl
party (Go Pats!), our Club dinner at the Old Town Pub, the Hots Springs tours, Hammerschlogen at TBars, Gondola/sled ride to
Ragnars for dinner, shopping in town and socializing after skiing and at dinner were the order of the day.

The Club would like to thank Cliff Jackson (trip leader), Nadene Mills and Lin Sullivan (event organizers), the crews who packed
the buses and pitched in and those who bought the next round, that bottle of wine at dinner, open their condo up for dinner with
members and friends and anyone who helped in any way to make this a very special, memorable event.
